Join us at our annual conference on issues affecting older and vulnerable people.

This year’s conference has a focus on change. Our speakers will explore the impact of unexpected changes and how we can react and respond to them.

This conference is aimed at professionals working with older or vulnerable people. It will unpack a variety of issues affecting this community, including social care challenges and updates, digital changes for LPAs and how to deal with unexpected changes to wills.

Our speakers for the day:

  • Dr Tara Rado, Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Psychologia Limited, who will consider the impact of change following a brain injury, both for the individual and their family
  • Stephen Burke, CEO of the Hallmark Foundation, who will update us on some of the research and great work of the Hallmark Foundation as they campaign for change for older people
  • Gina Khera, Legal Director, Disputed Wills, Trust and Estates at HCR Hewitsons, who will explore the consequences of a sudden change of Will and the impact predatory marriages have on inheritance.

Our specialist Health and Social Care team will also be looking at some of the key issues and changes facing the sector, including regulatory and employment.

Other speakers will provide an update on changes in social care following the appointment of the new Government, the digitisation of LPAs and the use of Statutory Wills as a tool to balance interests after death.

Ticket includes refreshments throughout the day, conference pack and hot and cold buffet lunch.
