HCR Law’s Dispute Resolution team has welcomed experienced commercial disputes lawyer Dipti Hunter to the team as a Partner. Dipti has over 20 years’ experience in the dispute resolution arena, having worked for multi-national corporates and a number of leading City practices.
Having previously led the commercial disputes team at the UK division of a global professional services firm, clients have included high-net-worth individuals, international investors and shareholders leading to work on variety of cases. Dipti’s expertise has led her to advise on everything from complex cross-border transactions to technology disputes. Her specialisms are wide, covering asset tracing, interlocutory relief and acting as a Supervising Solicitor for search orders.
Dipti will be based in HCR’s London office, which has seen significant growth in the past few months, most recently welcoming AI and Cloud specialist Frank Jennings, who joined as a Partner in the summer. As a commercial disputes specialist, Dipti’s knowledge of the sector will be of particular benefit to businesses across the City of London and the wider region.
Away from the office, Dipti regularly writes and speaks on topics arising from commercial disputes and is a committee member of the London Solicitors Litigation Association. She’s also a founder and director of Project Uplift, a not-for-profit forum providing support, advocacy and mentoring for LBGTQI+ and allies in the legal, investigation and forensic fields.
Head of Dispute Resolution Wayne Beynon welcomed Dipti to the team: “I’m delighted Dipti has joined us. The calibre of her work and the clients she serves will further strengthen our Dispute Resolution offering. I am particularly excited at the prospect of working with Dipti and our existing team to develop our international litigation and arbitration offering.”
Dipti Hunter commented: “HCR Law’s Dispute Resolution team is renowned for having a strong practice covering a wide range of areas.
