Continuity of supported living services preserved following Real Estate Healthcare team’s guidance

When a company required to urgently transfer leases out of a housing association, we advised the community interest charity on an innovative structure which saw 45 of the company’s leases transferred to the housing association in a matter of days.

The team’s ability to respond swiftly and deliver the purchase to meet a challenging deadline ensured continuity of service to vulnerable adults. It was a particularly significant transaction as there were concerns over the existing housing association’s financial situation, which could have damaged the reputation of the sector as a whole.
