Excellent private client team wins Highly Commended in national Law Society excellence award

HCR’s private client team which deals with wills, trusts and estates, has been highly commended in the Law Society’s award for excellence for its focus on providing what clients need, whether that is a Welsh-language will, specialist services for older and vulnerable clients or a new focus on those involved with disputed wills.

The awards, which are open to all regulated law firms in England and Wales, are the highlight of the legal calendar and attract high-calibre entries in every category.

The team showcased their Wills at Work service to companies who want to offer their employees access to will-writing support and advice, as well as the specialist expertise offered by both Phillipa Bruce-Kerr’s team for older and vulnerable clients and Beth King-Smith’s team which handles contentious wills, trusts and estates.

Beth said after the awards: “This is a real tribute to the team right across the firm. This has obviously been a challenging year, but they have risen to those challenges magnificently and thoroughly deserve this recognition. I am really delighted.”
