Four new members in four months for Cheltenham lawyers’ litigation team

Four new recruits have joined Harrison Clark Rickerbys’ expanding Cheltenham dispute resolution team in the last four months, making the team one of the largest in the region with 18 fee earners and five support staff. It has doubled in size in just over three years, reflecting client demand.

The team supports both local and national clients across a number of areas, including intellectual property, real estate litigation and banking and financial services.

The latest recruit is Edward Miller, who joined the team as a senior associate. Edward joined from an international law firm in London and brings a wide range of experience and knowledge, acting for a range of clients ranging from SMEs to high net worth individuals, as well as property developers, hotels and bridging lenders.

Adam Barrett joined the team as an associate, having trained and qualified with a national firm – his particular expertise is in matters involving breach of contract, professional negligence, shareholder disputes and general litigation.

Solicitor Kate Hallifax specialises in real estate litigation and represents SMEs, PLCs and private individuals in many areas of real estate disputes. Kate has significant experience in retail, construction, transport and the public sector.

Solicitor, has also boosted the team’s real estate expertise, with her experience of dealing with landlord and tenant issues, recovery of rent arrears, breach of lease covenants, and disputes involving common land and village greens.
