Gurinder Hayer shortlisted as Young Lawyer of the Year at Insider’s first-ever Midlands Young Professionals Awards

Gurinder Hayer, Associate in HCR’s Commercial team based in Worcester, has been shortlisted for the Young Lawyer of the Year award at Insider’s Midlands Young Professionals Awards – a brand new ceremony for 2023.

The event celebrates the rising stars within the region’s business community. The black-tie ceremony takes place on 7 December at the Macdonald Burlington Hotel in Birmingham and will be compered by TV presenter Jason Mohammad.

Gurinder’s nomination places him amongst competitors at Partner level in global firms. Although he is early in his legal career, he has demonstrated strong commercial skills and been instrumental in growing the HCR Flex Secondment Services.

As well as being a talented lawyer, Gurinder is making a name for him himself in the sports commentating world, having recently joined the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham as a weightlifting commentator.
