HCR Law welcomes Rachel Gwynne as Partner and Head of Charities and Not-for-Profit

HCR Law is pleased to announce that Rachel Gwynne has joined the firm as a Partner and Head of Charities and Not-for-Profit.
With over 20 years of experience in the legal sector, Rachel was most recently a Partner at a national UK law firm and is widely recognised as an expert in charity law. She was recently named a Next Generation Partner in the Legal 500 and an ‘Up and Coming’ Partner in the 2025 Chambers and Partners rankings.
Rachel’s passion for the charity and not-for-profit sector extends beyond her professional role. She has held numerous trustee positions, including serving as a trustee of Cornerstone Charity for over 14 years, bringing a unique perspective, understanding both sides of the sector’s challenges and opportunities.
HCR’s Charities and Not-for-Profit team works with over 400 organisations across England and Wales and is recognised as a top-tier firm in the 2025 Legal 500. Rachel’s specialisms -including advising clients on governance issues, corporate restructuring, mergers, collaborative working arrangements and regulatory compliance – will complement HCR’s full-service offering in the Charity and Not-for-Profit sector.
