HCR ranked first across UK for M&A deals

Harrison Clark Rickerbys has been ranked first for merger and acquisition deals across the UK in Experian MarketIQ’s YTD report.

The firm was listed first for deals by volume across the South East, South West and Midlands – holding its position since Experian’s August report.

M&A activity has been growing across the rest of the UK, with the firm ranked second in the East of England, third in London, third in Wales and eighth in the North East – a first for the firm.

The move to third place in London shows a strengthening of position in the city following a ranking of seventh place in the previous report.

“I’m pleased to see that deals are being done nationally too, including the North East. This broad level of activity bodes well for the end of the year and into next year – we’re looking forward to seeing what it brings.”

It’s been a successful year for the team – these rankings come hot on the heels of the Corporate team’s five nominations at this years’ Thames Valley Deals Awards, as well as the Cardiff team being shortlisted as finalists for Corporate Law Firm of the Year at the Wales Dealmakers Awards. This follows a variety of successful deals in areas as diverse as tech, outdoor pursuits and engineering.
