HCR wins Law Firm of the Year and Lawyer of the Year

HCR has been named Law Firm of the Year at this year’s Thames Valley Deals Awards. The black-tie event celebrates the very best in deal-making and the people who make those deals happen.

Rachel Turner, Head of HCR’s Thames Valley Corporate Team won the prestigious Lawyer of the Year award at the same event – the second time she has taken home this award.  Robert Rice, Partner in the Corporate team, said: “I’m so pleased that we’ve won both of these awards. We have had an outstanding year in terms of the transactions that we’ve worked on and Rachel has led on some fantastic deals.

The awards come hot on the heels of the Corporate team being ranked first across the UK for M&A deals in the ExperianIQ YTD report – and clients say the team is “excellent, engaging, and experienced, with wise advice and foresight provided on challenging and time-critical matters” in the 2024 legal directories.
