HCR Law is renowned for its client-centric, partner-led service; something which has been reflected in this years’ Chambers and Partners High Net Worth guide.

The 2024 guide, which ranks the best law firms and lawyers advising on private wealth across England and Wales, listed 14 of the Private Client team. The team deal with all forms of private client work for high-net-worth individuals, from supporting with estate planning both domestic and international, to setting up family investment companies and the administration of complex trusts.

Whilst HCR have been assisting individuals and families with managing their assets for over a century, recognising the evolving needs of our clients in 2024 we formed our Private Wealth sector. The sector embodies our commitment to providing comprehensive, multi-disciplinary legal advice, ensuring a seamless approach to clients to manage their wealth and assets effectively.

Katherine Hague, Head of Private Wealth Sector said, “I am delighted that so many members of the team have achieved these rankings from Chambers and Partners. It highlights our continued commitment to delivering high quality and bespoke advice to our clients.

These rankings are based largely on client feedback, and cultivating trusted, longstanding relationships with our clients is at the heart of what we do”

Ranked highly across five regions, the release of the guide chimes perfectly with the team’s recent celebrations – having won the Private Client Team of the Year – Tax and Trusts at the Modern Law Private Client Awards in July.

Particular highlights from the guide include the listing of two members of the Cambridge team, Alexandra Francis and Keri Rowan as ‘Associates to Watch’. This is alongside our ranked group of partners in the region, which demonstrates the strength of our client relationships and dedication to developing talent within Cambridge.

In Central England, Kerri Woodrow, has achieved a Band 2 ranking after being recognised last year as ‘up and coming’ – a significant achievement, given the rigorous and in-depth research process which goes into producing the High Net Worth Guide.

Qualities on which rankings are assessed include technical legal ability, client service, commercial astuteness, professional conduct, diligence, and commitment.
