Achieving targets
Keeping a marathon in his sights for 2020, half-marathon runner Anthony Goodfellow, our Head of Real Estate for the Wye Valley and Hereford, knows that reaching goals can sometimes be a hard slog; after all, he’s a Spurs supporter…
But his work gives him the chance to help both individuals and businesses to achieve their own targets – he helped to rescue more than 100 stores when a High St retailer went into administration.
Anthony said: “It was really satisfying to help with the rescue of those stores and to think of the staff involved. It was so good to keep that well-known brand on the UK high street.”
Keeping clients happy
Getting complex transactions over the line and keeping clients happy are central to Anthony’s work, including when he worked on the acquisition of a large country house and estate within a very tight timescale.
Contact our Wye Valley office now.
He explained: “We had a very short period within which to agree on the deal and also tie the transaction in with the purchase of a neighbouring property, both of which needed to complete simultaneously. My client had their own time pressures too, so it was demanding but ultimately very satisfying.”
He and the team provide clients with commercial solutions to their real estate problems, including working on-site development and supporting education providers with their property needs.
Anthony said: “I love being part of a team; I like the camaraderie of the office environment and enjoy working with and training and developing my colleagues. The Wye Valley is known as a beauty spot, but I know it as a busy and vibrant property market, where I work with those who love the area and want to grow there.”
