Partner’s expertise leads to smooth transaction for high-net-worth buyer

Simon Cooper, Partner and Licenced Conveyancer in our Real Estate team, was contacted to provide expertise for a high-net-worth buyer of a residential property. Simon helped to finalise an exclusivity agreement which allowed the client to withdraw from the transaction if any issues were uncovered with either the legal title or the survey.

He then helped the client exchange contracts on a property which was classed as ‘mixed use’ for stamp duty land tax purposes, and negotiated an extended completion date to allow them to find a buyer for their previous home.
