HCR Law’s growing Restructuring and Insolvency team have widened their offering as corporate insolvency expert Rowena Clark joins the firm as a Legal Director in the Thames Valley office.
Rowena’s expertise covers corporate restructuring and insolvency as well as distressed banking and financing transactions and distress real estate advisory. Her specialisms also cover corporate board advisory and turnaround solutions. She’ll be working closely with Alex Wild, Restructuring and Insolvency Partner in HCR’s London office, in the coming months – meaning businesses across the Thames Valley can take advantage of a cross-office approach to expertise in the practice area.
Sam Payne, Head of Restructuring and Insolvency, said: “We’re delighted Rowena has joined the team. Her expertise comes at a time when we are seeing businesses turn to us for a variety of reasons to guide them through difficult periods and find innovative solutions to their problems. I’m sure she her varied experience will add value, not just to our offering to distressed businesses, but also to the people who run them both in the Thames Valley region and beyond.”
Heath Thomas, Head of Thames Valley office, said: “Rowena is a great addition to both the Thames Valley office and the firm’s wider Restructuring and Insolvency team. Her expertise precedes her; I’m very pleased that she’s joined the team here in Thames Valley – businesses across the region who are facing distress will be able to turn to an expert in the field.”
This broad experience will continue to add to the expanse of work taken on since Frank Brumby joined as the firm’s National Chairman of Restructuring and Insolvency in July last year.
