Spotlight on Dispute Resolution Team

The Worcester Dispute Resolution team specialises in every aspect of commercial litigation. This includes disputes between shareholders, complex cross-border disputes and substantial warranty claims. The team also deal with interim injunctions in the high court, professional negligence, trustee disputes and international arbitration proceedings.

The team is headed up by Partner, Elizabeth Beatty. Elizabeth is also the head of our innovative firm-wide In-House Lawyer Services, which allows our in-house lawyer clients 24-hour access to our experts across the firm.

Elizabeth prides herself and the team on providing frank, no-nonsense advice. She enjoys getting to know her clients and their businesses. Elizabeth sits as a Deputy District Judge at the Birmingham Civil Justice Centre with a specialist ticket for the Business and Property Court. Her experience on the bench is invaluable to clients, who benefit from her practical experience of the key factors considered by the Court in commercial disputes.

The Worcester Dispute Resolution team also comprises of Legal Director Tom Williams, and Solicitors Georgina Groves and Matthew Deem.

Work with businesses of all kinds, from SMEs to large corporates, the team also helps individuals to make claims and defend against them. They plays a huge role in the wider-firm’s healthcare sector and have a wealth of experience in acting for dentist, vets and care home providers.
