Recognition of the excellent legal services which Harrison Clark Rickerbys’ education team gives to schools across the UK has come from the country’s two leading legal directories.
Both the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners recognised outstanding individuals from the firm’s team and acknowledged the team’s focus and detailed knowledge – known as a ‘dynamic education group’, it is ranked among the best in the country.
Led by Kristine Scott, the team is based in Cheltenham but works with schools all over the UK, as well as advising the Independent Schools’ Bursars Association (ISBA) on safeguarding and child protection policies.
The team, including Emilie Darwin and Kate Hickey, whose expertise is also recognised, recently won the national EducationInvestor award for legal advice to education institutions. Advising on academy conversions and employment issues as well as corporate matters, the team is known for its ‘fabulous cross-section of expertise.’
Kristine, acknowledged in both directories as a leader in education, said: “The key to our success is the total focus and passion we have for education; we understand the specific needs of schools and other institutions and are dedicated to meeting those needs. Because we have considerable experience in our sector, we offer clients more than they have asked for; we know the potential pitfalls they may face and can prepare them to deal with those.”
