West Midlands Corporate team shortlisted for two awards at Rainmaker Awards 2024

HCR Law’s Corporate team have been shortlisted for two awards at this year’s Business Desk West Midlands Rainmaker Awards. Held at Birmingham’s Macdonald Burlington Hotel on June 13, the ceremony brings together the West Midlands deals community, celebrating the best deals from the past 12 months along with the teams that make them happen.

HCR Law’s award-winning Corporate team have been shortlisted for two awards – Regional Legal Team and International Deal of the Year.

The deal in question saw Redditch-based logistics group AMCO acquired by global logistics specialist Super Group, and was led on by Head of Midlands Corporate Alison Scott.

Traditional tuxedos and long speeches are swapped for casual dress and an evening focusing on recognising and celebrating the best work from the year – with an opportunity to network with leading individuals from firms across the West Midlands.

With teams, deals and individuals celebrated, other awards in the ceremony range from Private Equity Exit of the Year to Rising Star of the Year and National Corporate Finance Advisory Team.
