Why choose me

Acting for landowners and farmers is about being at the heart of their business and family.  I enjoy working with clients and other advisers and being part of the client’s team.  I also enjoy working on diverse matters as my farming and charity clients tend to be innovative and always looking for the next opportunity.

Working in the Agricultural and Estates team is about long-term relationships.  We are not there for a single transaction, we are there as a trusted partner when our clients need help.  I work with a range of private landowners, large estates, farmers and landowning charities and have developed an understanding of the issues that can affect these clients and the pressures on their businesses, projects and objectives.

My services include acting on the sales and purchase of land and farms, advising on inter-family land rearrangements, preparing leases and licences of land, advising on Agricultural Tenancies, acting on the grant of rights of way including to utilities and advising Stamp Duty Land Tax, including on partnerships.

Outside of work, I have a love of the countryside, the natural world and heritage.  I also have an interest in motorsport, cars, and the arts (theatre, art and literature).
