Why choose me
I love the fast-paced nature of real estate work and enjoy the challenge of problem-solving whilst seeing the impact of transactions on the changing landscape of our communities. I work closely with my clients to anticipate issues and defuse issues early on to avoid delays.
I’m a practical, solutions-driven lawyer and have worked with a broad range of clients. These include high street banks and building societies, specialist development and bridging funders as well as borrowers who are funding acquisitions, investment portfolios and development projects. I have a particular specialism in development finance, having acted for national housebuilders for 15 years in the acquisition of residential development sites.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my friends and family – I’m at my happiest exploring new places. When I make time for myself, this is usually spent at the gym or playing netball. I also enjoy cooking, baking and arts and crafts with my daughter.

Questions my clients ask me
As a guide, a standard transaction should take around six weeks. However, this depends on a number of factors including the type of funding, the number of properties, the nature of the properties and the solicitor on the other side. We will always keep you updated and will do what we can to keep to your timescales where possible.
Lenders have requirements that we have to satisfy on every transaction and this can differ depending on the nature of the deal. Sometimes what we are asking may seem unnecessary, but if you don’t know why we require it, please ask us and we can explain – there’s always a very good reason.
Fee estimates are provided at the start of every matter based on our understanding of what will be required. Giving us as much information as possible at the outset will enable us to scope the work accurately. Where additional work requires additional fees we will seek to agree this with you at the earliest opportunity.
